
The Gwich'in Doll was created by Mary Kendi of Aklavik, NWT. The doll is aproximately 40 cm high and is clothed in traditional winter clothes which include, Beaver mits, moose hide mukluks, and a Mother Hubbard parka. The mits also include braided strings. The hood is ruffed with muskrat and wolf fur.
The face is embroidered.
