The products sold by Vanishing Artifacts are made by highly skilled traditional artisans. In many cases they represent skills which has contributed to the survival of the people for millenium. In most cases they are made of traditional materials.

The Northwest Territories is one of the last wilderness areas in the world. It covers over _______??? sq. km. and has a population of just over 30,000 people. Over 50% of the population are from first nations and metis decent. In recent years (1984 to present) the political land scape in the territory has been changed by a series of land claims. These include Inuvaluit, Gwich'in, Sathu and Nunavut.
