If you have more than nine sightings per trip please submit the first nine (9) sightings and then fill out an additional form.
If you are unable to identify the cetaceans (whales dolphins porpoises) you have seen, just fill the large or small box in the Table (above) and put a description and date in the remarks section. It is really difficult to count the numbers in a pod (group of cetaceans) so an estimate is fine.
PHOTOGRAPHS; some cetacean species have distinctive markings or distinctive shape of dorsal fin, which varies between individuals, so, if you have a chance, did take some photographs of the cetaceans you saw, and can spare them for us, it would be wonderful to be able to add them to the data.
Because we have a reporting system, we felt it was also important to report floating containers and debris. In the case of containers, please report them as soon as possible and their position will be documented on the WhaleForce WEB Site. Reporting can be done through this form or via email with a latitude and longitude.
